The WRA is now accepting proposals until April 21 from well-qualified law firms and attorneys interested in providing legal services.
The Des Moines Metropolitan Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA) is soliciting proposals from Des Moines-area attorneys and law firms to meet its needs for legal services to supplement or replace certain legal services currently provided to the WRA and its Board by the Des Moines City Attorney and the City’s legal staff under an existing “Operating Contract” between the WRA and the City of Des Moines as “Operating Contractor.” Interested parties can find the full Request for Proposals (RFP) document here.
The purpose of this RFP is to obtain proposals from well-qualified law firms and attorneys interested in providing legal services to the WRA with such engagement to commence on/about June 1, 2023. The WRA seeks attorney relationships that provide high quality and consistent service at a predictable cost.
Only attorneys who are currently licensed to practice law in Iowa and who maintain an office in Des Moines Metropolitan Area, or law firms including such attorneys, shall be eligible for selection as counsel under this RFP.
Proposals must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the requirements described in the Request for Proposals (RFP) linked here.
